OXFORD United Women are looking to end a strong week with a third successive win when they host Carterton Town in the last four of the Oxfordshire County Cup tomorrow (1.30).

The U’s head into the fixture at Court Place Farm on the back of victories over Chichester City last weekend and Milton Keynes Dons in midweek in the FA Women’s National League.

Wednesday night’s 3-0 win extended their unbeaten league run to six games,

helping them climb to third in the Southern Premier Division.

Flo Fyfe, Emily Allen and Cheryl Williams were on the scoresheet as United eased to victory at Stadium MK.

The visitors broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time when an Allen cross dropped to the feet of Fyfe, who calmly fired home.

Allen hit a post after the break, but made it 2-0 on 79 minutes when meeting Fyfe’s deep cross.

Williams then scored her first goal for the club, finishing off a fine team move, to seal a convincing win.

Barton United and Oxford City go head-to-head in tomorrow’s other county cup semi-final (1.30).
