CONNOR Hull scored 29 points as Grove ran riot to impressively beat third-placed Walcot 64-7 at home and make it three wins in a row.

Tries from Hull, Dan Coombs and Guy Nichol saw the hosts lead 19-7 at the break in the Southern Counties South fixture.

Guy Nichol, Jack Ponting, Ben Nichol, Jack Horrocks, James Monks and Hull then crossed in the second half.

Hull converted eight of the nine tries and kicked a penalty.

In Southern Counties North, Bicester were beaten 33-21 at High Wycombe.

They trailed 14-6 at the break, with two Ollie Dawkins penalties keeping them in touch.

Bicester slipped 20 points behind, but Dawkins converted Peter Tarrega’s try and kicked a penalty, before going over himself, to give them hope.

However, the hosts made sure of victory when scoring another try.

Littlemore lost 30-7 at home to Aylesbury.

Wallingford suffered a heavy 79-12 defeat at Marlow.

Wheatley were made to settle for a losing bonus point when beaten 20-13 at Hungerford in the BB&O Premier.

The visitors led 7-6 at half-time, thanks to Jack Smith’s try, Aaron Laman converting.

Hungerford hit back, but two Laman penalties saw Wheatley draw level.

However, the hosts punished a lack of concentration to score what turned out to be the match-winning try.

Gosford All Blacks beat Bletchley 51-7 at home, while Oxford were handed a walkover by Risborough.

Abingdon closed to within a point of Championship leaders Chipping Norton after a walkover against Winslow.

Harwell lost 58-10 to Berkshire Shire Hall.
