CYCLO-CROSS: Bicester Triathlon Club’s Fran Whyte triumphed in the Leicester League race.
Taking the technical elements of the old BMX track and challenging grass landscaped banks in her stride, Whyte flew over the line in 48mins 32secs.
ATHLETICS: Bicester Triathlon Club’s husband and wife team of James and Jane Simons produced fine displays in the Leighton Buzzard Dirt Half Marathon.
James finished in 1hr 44mins 46secs to come 49th of 193 in his age group, while Jane (1.48.48) was 12th from 115 in her category.
TABLE TENNIS: Bicester A got back to winning ways in Division 1 of the Oxford & District League with a 10-0 whitewash of Forum B to go back to the top of the table.
In Division 3, despite a fantastic maximum from Muriel Hooker, Bicester D got the better of Bicester E 7-3.
