MIKE Procter won three gold medals in the Masters National Championships at Ponds Forge.

The Bicester Blue Fins member won the 50m freestyle, 50m butterfly and 100m butterfly in the 25-29 age category in Sheffield.

Clubmate Ryan Steward also enjoyed success in the 30-34 category, claiming silvers in the 200m freestyle and 100m individual medley, as well as bronze in the 50m breaststroke and 100m breaststroke.

Andy Smith clinched bronze in the 30-34 100m backstroke, while Noah Cadle was third in the 18-24 1,500m freestyle.

There was also success in the men’s relays, with silver in the freestyle as well as bronze in the medley and freestyle.

At the City of Bristol L3 Short Course meet, Ben Inness, 17, landed three golds, five silvers and a bronze. Seb Gomm, 12, bagged four silvers, and Tom Henley, 12, won gold and silver.

Ethan Cavill, Alex Pryce, Luca Soleil-Arnephy and Freddie Whybrow also claimed medals.
