EDDIE Pepperell produced another brilliant display in difficult conditions to top the leaderboard after his second round at the British Masters.
The Abingdon golfer carded a three-under-par 69 on a wet and windy day at Walton Heath to head the field on eight under.

Pepperell, the World No 50, built on a strong opening round, which included a sensational hole-in-one at the Surrey course.
Starting at the tenth, the Frilford Heath member picked up shots at his second and fifth holes.
"Just stunning."

A dropped shot at the next when he drove into a bunker curtailed his progress, but the 27-year-old birdied his ninth to move back to two under.
Another birdie followed at his 12th, only for Pepperell to drop a shot four holes later.
But he finished strongly, birdying his 17th, before a par at his last.
The wind's howling out there. Not that it bothers Eddie...#BritishMasters pic.twitter.com/AU25SaHWzN
