DAN Savin won Bicester & North Oxford’s player-of-the-year award following their 1st XI’s promotion season in the Cherwell League.

Savin, who helped the club land the Division 1 title with 494 runs and 37 wickets, was not present to receive his trophy at their presentation night.

Adam Stapleford-Jones’s 614 runs earned him the batting award, while Danny Clark claimed the bowling prize for his 43 wickets.

Young leg-spinner Ryan McLaughlin collected the youth honour having taken 19 wickets for the 2nd and 3rd XIs.
