OXFORD City Stars chief Scott Gough is appealing to fans to get behind the club again as they gear up for the campaign.
After scooping the double last season, it has been a busy summer behind the scenes at Oxpens since the new-look leadership team took over the Stars in June.
Assistant coach Gough became owner and was joined on the board by head coach Kenny Redmond, Jo Mundy – whose three sons play for the club – while Greig Box Turnbull remained in post.
“It’s been a whirlwind summer,” said Gough.
“The support we’ve received has been phenomenal.
“We’ve made some very exciting signings, secured great new sponsors and have been working on various projects to boost the matchday experience.
“We are introducing new interval entertainment, new skate-out music and a new kit.
“I’d appeal to supporters to come to games again as it’s going to be another exciting season at Oxpens.”
He added: “Last season was so memorable for everyone and we believe we have strengthened the
squad and we’re all focused on competing again this year.
“The fans made a massive difference last season and when Oxpens is full it really spurs the boys on.
“Everyone can make a difference.”
Tickets prices, which have been frozen for the new season, are £8 for adults, £5 for concessions, or £20 for a family of four.
