BICESTER AC’S Amber Parker recorded personal bests in three different disciplines as she competed in two events over the weekend.

Competing in the Southern Counties Inter-Counties Championship at Horspath on Saturday, Parker launched the hammer out to a national grade 3 mark of 32.64m, breaking her own under 15 club record.

The following day, she took part in the Woking Open, where she broke club records in the discus and the shot.

In the discus, she beat Megan Davies’s mark, which had stood since 2009, throwing a national grade 1 mark of 28.77m.

This moved her to 22nd in the under 15 girl national rankings.

Parker then produced a national grade 2 shot put of 9.92m, which also broke her own previous record.

l Alchester’s Samantha Usher won the LV45 age group title after the last Mota-vation Series race of the year, hosted by Kidlington Running Club.

Bicester Triathlon Club runners Brad Williams, Kritter Williams and George Jackson secured top-50 finishes.
