ADAM Spaul switched switched his red Bicester Triathlon Club suit for a blue Team GB outfit to compete in the European Championships in Glasgow.
Taking part in the Sprint Triathlon as a 45-49 age group qualifier, he crossed the line in 22nd place out of a field of 48, in a time of 1hr 12mins 38 secs.
Nearer home, Bicester members enjoyed themselves in the inaugural MK5000 running event organised by Marshall Milton Keynes AC.
In a festive atmosphere, the idea was for competitors to record personal bests over 5,000.
And that’s exactly what Bicester’s Christopher Finister and Richard Francis did, with times of 17.28 and 17.58 respectively.
