SIX Bicester members came home with medals after completing the gruelling three-day Long Course Weekend in Pembrokeshire.
Garry James, Jo Gundle, Martin Reader, Laurence Blair, Carol Mathews and Debbie Gilbert battled through the punishing terrain and hot weather.
The weekend started with an Ironman distance swim of 2.4 miles off Tenby’s North Beach.
This was followed by a 112-mile cycle through the undulating Welsh countryside, before a 26.2-mile run to complete the course.
James finished 20th in the last stage and crossed in an overall time of 11hrs 43mins 17secs.
Meanwhile, Eileen Doherty was the eighth veteran 40 home at the Lulworth Cove Trail Half Marathon.
Bicester members also headed to Andover for a junior triathlon.
Jarryd Claydon-Folley clinched second in the TriStar1 Boys race, with with Anna Jolliffe fourth in the TriStar2 Girls.
Edward Jolliffe finished ninth in the youth event.
