HOLLY Mellors, from Bicester Triathlon Club, finished a notable 12th in the 30-34 age group at the British Standard Distance Championships in Leeds.
She completed the 1,500m swim, 44km bike ride and 9km run in 2hrs 43mins.
Defending champions Bicester finished third in the Endure24 event at Reading.
Their squad of Garry James, Kristian Williams, Przemyslaw Kwasniewski, Christopher Mackie, Christopher Finister, James Ferguson, Michael Smith and Lee Godber completed 39 laps of a tough five-mile terrain loop in 24hrs 2mins.
James produced the fastest lap in 32.21.
The club’s second string were 78th with 29 laps in 23.36.
Eileen Doherty was sixth in the 45-49 age category – and 12th female overall – at the Cotswold 113 in Cirencester, with a time of 5.29.46 for the 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run.
