MILLIE Couzens broke a Bicester club record and landed three victories at the final National Youth UK Development League match of the season.

Bicester finished fourth in the overall Midland Division 2A table after they were only able to come sixth in Dudley with a depleted team.

Couzens enjoyed a successful day in the under 13 girls’ event, landing a new club record in the high jump, clearing 1.40m for the first time.

She also won the 1,200m, with clubmate Amelia Cox triumphing in the B event, and the long jump.

Amelia Cox recorded a personal best in the javelin, as did Erin Fabri (75m) and Emilia Sims (150m).

Under 15 Holly Hunter landed two club records, throwing 25.27m for second in the javelin, and 17.86 to come fourth in the hammer.

Amy Gould took second in the 1,500m, while Maisie Silvester equalled her season’s best of 11.30 for sixth in the discus.

Only two boys competed in the under 13 event, with Sam Rayson winning the high jump and 75m hurdles.

He also produced a personal best leap of 4.29 for second in the long jump.

Finn Graham set pbs in the 1,500m and shot for valuable points.

Tom Couzens was a double winner in the under 15 competition, securing the high jump and 80m hurdles.

Oscar Honour threw a pb of 34.15 to take second in the javelin, before a new mark of 23.12 helped him to the same placing in the hammer.

William Sims won the B-string hammer and achieved a pb for second in the hammer.
