Millie Couzens equalled Bicester AC’s club record for the under 13 girls 70m hurdles at the final round of the UK Development League at Tamworth.

Bicester finished seventh at the Midland Division 2A North East match.

Couzens matched the club record of 12.8secs in a national Grade 4 time.

She also set a personal best and Grade 4 time of 2.39.9 in taking third in the 800m.

Under 13 Amelia Cox recorded a personal mark of 4.25.4 for second in the 1200m, as well as a national grade and pb of 15.49m to take fourth in the javelin.

Molly Acton was second in the under 15 girls 800m in 2.28.1, while Orlaith Lyford (30.1, 200m) and Maisie Silvester (14.6, 100m) also set personal bests.

Tom Couzens set a pb in finishing fourth in the boys 80m hurdles in 14.2 and was second in the long jump and fourth in the high jump.

Alchester's Jennifer McBain was the second woman home at Saturday’s six-mile Hornton Classic in 39mins 30secs for 20th place.

Richard Gould came fifth at the Waddesdon Manor 5k Road Race.
