Bicester Blue Fins’ Freddie Ashley-Sparks will join teammates Maddy Powell, Kieran Bird and Lottie WynneJones at next month’s National Open Water Championships in Rother Valley country park near Sheffield.
It follows his performance at the ASA South East Region Open Water Championships in Chichester, west Sussex.
Ashley-Sparks, 12, was fifth overall in the male 1,500m to become the age 13 regional champion and gold medal winner in 21mins 56.40sec.
The other three have already qualified from prior events.
Bird, 15, claimed the overall open championship as well as a gold medal and regional championship for his age group in the male 3,000m in 39mins 2.40secs.
Powell, 11, claimed silver in the open female 1,500m and was also crowned age 12 regional champion for her gold medal winning time of 22.09.90.
Andrew Pryce, 50, was 25th in the 1,500m to secure a gold medal in his age group and become regional champion in 30.02.07.
Tom Thornley, 15, finished third in the 3,000m open category taking bronze in the age 16 category.
Josh Rowland was fifth overall, to take silver in the 15-year age group.
Sinead Vine-Nealon, 14, finished fifth overall to take age group silver in the female 3,000m.
