Bicester's David Kuester bagged two gold medals at the VAC Indoor Championships at Lee Valley on Sunday.
He won the shot put (8.91m) and long jump 3.21m) in the 65-70 age group. A day earlier, he won the 70+ age group at the WTC Heavyweight Triathlon World Cup at Moorlands Stadium Derby, with a combined distance of 58.68m. He was second in the Mid-land Masters Championships in the 70+ age group (1,229 points).
The veteran picked up three fouls in his first event – the 3kg weight where he finished second with a throw of 23.87m.
