DANNY Bone’s late equaliser earned Bletchingdon a 1-1 draw at Mansfield Road in their Premier Division clash on Saturday.
Dan Trinder had put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot and it looked as though Mansfield Road would make it four wins from five matches. But Bone popped up to snatch a point.
Charlton United Res won 3-1 at home to Broughton & North Newington Res in the first round of the Clarendon Cup.
Ritchie Knight fired Charlton into an early lead, only for Ryan Hill to equalise.
But after Keiren Cross rest-ored Charlton’s lead in the second half, it was plain sailing.
Chris Staker added a third from the penalty spot after James McAdam was felled.
