Aldi has announced it is looking into opening several new stores around the UK and is asking its customers for help in deciding where.
The supermarket chain has invited people to submit suggestions on where they would like to see a new Aldi store in the UK.
The most popular areas highlighted as part of this process will be considered as part of their ongoing commitment to expand their real estate portfolio.
The supermarket currently has more than 1,050 stores and remains committed to its long-term goal of operating more than 1,500 UK stores.
How can customers submit a new store location suggestion to Aldi?
To nominate a town or area for consideration, customers are invited to email NextNewStore@aldi.co.uk and simply state the town they would like to put forward in the subject of the email.
Aldi is asking for submissions by Sunday, June 8, and plans to share the results and unveil the next round of priority locations later this year.
The final decision on where to open new stores will depend on several factors, including local demand and property availability.
Site requirements for Aldi stores can be found on the website here, which include prominent main road frontage and an approximately 15,000 catchment area for footfall.
