A city-centre shopping centre is hosting a dog-themed day with prizes up for grabs.
Westgate Oxford will host a dog-themed day on September 19, giving owners and their pups the chance to pose for photos and win prizes as part of a competition.
The Mutt Strut, run in partnership with DogFest, invites dog owners to snap a photo with their furry companions for a chance to win DogFest Plus tickets—worth more than £60 each—and a £100 John Lewis voucher.

A spokesman said: "The perfect bonding opportunity for dogs and their humans, the team will be giving away dog treats and goodies through the day.
"Guests can also browse Westgate Oxford retailer Rituals’ new Dog Spa collection including specially-formulated shampoo, wipes, perfume, and more, as well as John Lewis’ range of canine accessories."

Three runners-up will win a pair of standard admission tickets to DogFest at the Palace, and every participant will receive a code for 20 per cent off their ticket purchase.
To enter, visitors can head to the photo backdrop in Westgate Oxford’s Leiden Square and follow the sign-posted directions.
The event comes ahead of DogFest at the Palace, a dog-friendly festival at Blenheim Palace on October 3 and 4.

DogFest at the Palace features a full programme of entertainment including the Agria Fun Dog Show, breed meet-ups, live entertainment, shopping and an appearance by viral canine influencer Viola Snow.
Westgate Oxford is a dog-friendly centre, with retailers such as John Lewis, Oliver Bonas and Søstrene Grene welcoming four-legged visitors.
Dining options including Dirty Bones, Sticks ’n’ Sushi and The Breakfast Club also allow dogs.
The centre provides water bowls, treats and poo bag dispensers for visiting pups.
