The latest court cases in Oxford Magistrates' Court:
LINA MICHELIN, 43, of Fawley, Henley-On-Thames, was found guilty of speeding in a 30mph zone in a vehicle at A4155 Shiplake on September 1 last year. The speed recorded was 35mph. She was also found guilty of failing to provide information on the identity of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Banbury between September 10 and October 8 last year. She was ordered to pay costs of £120 and a fine of £660. She was also handed six penalty points.
VANIA D'ALESSANDRO, 33, of Clarendon Close, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to exceeding a 30mph speed limit at Audlett Drive, Abingdon, on October 16 last year. The speed recorded was 35mph. The defendant was ordered to pay costs of £120, a victim surcharge of £61 and a fine of £153, as well as being handed three penalty points.
DANWANT KAUR, 50, of Norham Gardens, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention at St Cross Road, Oxford, on November 7 last year. Kaur was ordered to pay costs of £130, a victim surcharge of £133 and a fine of £333. Kaur was also handed five penalty points.
EDOARDO GALLO, 32, of Cowley Road, Oxford, was found guilty of failing to provide information on the identity of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Banbury between September 11 and October 9 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £120, a victim surcharge of £264 and a fine of £660. He was also handed six penalty points.
BETHANY DAVOILE, 30, of Centenary Way, Witney, pleaded guilty to one count of drink driving on the B4477 at Witney on January 18 this year with 139 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. She was ordered to pay costs of £200, a victim surcharge of £108 and a fine of £270. She was also banned from the road for 32 months, but this can be reduced by 32 weeks if a course is completed by July 13 2028.
GARY MCFARLANE, 34, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating in Bicester on December 28 last year. He was jailed for nine weeks and ordered to pay costs of £85.
DANIEL HARRATT, 34, of Percy Curnock Drive, Stoke-On-Trent, was found guilty of using a mobile phone while driving on the A34 northbound at Abingdon on October 22 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £650, a victim surcharge of £221and a fine of £553. He was also handed six penalty points.
NICHOLAS JONES, 42, of White Road, Oxford, was found guilty of failing to provide information on the identity of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in Banbury between September 18 and October 16 last year. He was ordered to pay costs of £100, a victim surcharge of £120 and a fine of £300. He was also handed three penalty points.
