A driver's Mercedes car has been seized by police after a 22mph speeding offence on the M40 in Oxfordshire.
The incident took place between Junction 8a in Oxford and Junction 9 in Bicester this morning (Monday, September 7).
Thames Valley Police halted the vehicle, a white Mercedes, after it had been travelling at 92mph, which is 22mph over the 70mph limit.

In an update published across the force's social media channels, it was revealed that not only had the Mercedes been seized by officers but that the driver had also been reported to court.
The statement from Thames Valley Police said: "The vehicle passed XRC60 at excess speed on the M40 between Junctions 8a and 9 this morning at 92 mph.
"The driver also had no insurance, so the vehicle was seized and the driver has been reported to court."
