An Oxfordshire-based comedian is supporting Russell Howard on his national tour before going on his own roadshow in 2027.
Andrew Bird, a prominent Bicester-based stand-up comedian, described supporting Mr Howard on his 2026 tour Don't Tell The Algorithm as 'really good fun'.
Mr Bird is no stranger to the stage, having supported Russell Howard previously and performing in more than 20 locations across the country for his 2025 tour, A Ticklish Mind.

In 2017, Mr Bird Lone Wolf Comedy Club, a live stand up comedy based in Bicester at the Littlebury Hotel, with his wife, Katka Bird.
Last week, Mr Bird supported four shows in two days at the London Palladium.
"It feels like a privilege being in the building, let alone doing the gig," he said.
Mr Howard's tour, which is running until the end of November, will come to New Theatre Oxford from April 16-18.
"Doing four shows in a row in Oxford is a real treat," he said.
"I’ve done Oxford before but I’ve never done four in a row and with Russell, so that’s going to be really good fun."
Speaking on the tour so far, the Northamptonshire-born comedian said: "His [Russell's] tour manager is really funny, and Russell is constantly funny off-stage.
"He’s always writing, always changing bits... he's really funny and light hearted, but works really hard.
"He has a good balance."

Mr Bird has also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America's Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows, as well as Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the 02.
He is set to go on his biggest tour yet in 2027, with Nottingham and London already confirmed.
Further tour dates are set to be announced soon.
The line-up for the Bicester Comedy Festival will also be announced soon, with tickets now on sale.
