A car was seized in Oxfordshire after police discovered the driver was committing multiple offences.

The black Nissan was stopped on the A41 near Bicester on Wednesday morning (March 20) by Thames Valley Police.

Officers with the TVP Roads Policing Unit found the driver of the vehicle only held a provisional driver's licence and that they were also driving without supervision and no insurance.

This led to the police seizing the car and reporting the driver resulting in a court hearing soon.

The force announced the news via their Roads Policing social media account on X.

“Vehicle stopped on the A41 in Bicester this morning,” said the post.

“Driver held a Provisional Drivers licence and was driving without supervision and no insurance.

“Vehicle has been seized and driver has been reported and will be off to court soon.”
