TK Maxx is set to open its doors at an Oxfordshire retail park next week.

Plans submitted in June show that the brand, famous for its collection of bargains, applied to put up signs at the former Outfit store at Banbury Gateway.

The opening of the store will be on October 5 according to Google, but this has not been confirmed by the high-street giant.

There is already one store based in Banbury town centre on Calthorpe Street.

As of August, there are 354 TK Maxx stores in the United Kingdom.

A statement on the TK Maxx website reads: "TK Maxx is Europe's leading off-price clothing and homeware retailer.

"We sell a wide range of designer labels, top brands, up-and-coming labels, stylish fashion, homeware, gifts and one-off gems."

The Oxford Mail has approached TK Maxx to confirm the opening date published on Google.
