A ‘wellness’ event is coming to a community centre with the aim of “helping people feel happier and healthier in every way they can.”
The event is being organised by nanny and candle business owner Krista Mansfield, who said wellness means bringing a lot of different elements together to produce a person that’s well-rounded.

She said: “Wellness is about looking at the wholeness of a person.
“There’s such an emphasis on physical health in everyday life, but wellness aims to engage a person’s emotional, mental and spiritual health too.”
The 33-year-old, from Bicester, held a previous wellness event in March, saying that a number of guests approached her to do another one.
She added: “People can come along during any of the open hours. There will be treatments, information stalls and products for sale including natural skincare items, cacao and crystal jewellery.
“There will also be a chill out zone for people to relax in.
“It’ll be a well-rounded space where people can get more information and have taster sessions rather than booking a whole appointment.”
The event is free and will take place in the upstairs function room of the Whiteland Sports Centre, on Sunday, June 25 from 10am to 3pm.
There is also a cafe on-site so visitors can grab a bite to eat or something to drink.
