Oxford United Women travel to Ipswich Town this weekend in a top-of-the-table clash.

Ipswich sit top of the Southern Premier Division two points above Oxford who do have two games in hand.

A win on April 2, Sunday would send the U’s one point clear at the top.

United forward, Carly Johns said “It’s a massive game for us when you look at the table.

“We’re positive and we’ll do everything the same way, and focus game by game.

“We know they’re a good team, we’re looking forward to it.”

The two met back in October with the game finishing 1-1.

She said: “We expect it to be another tight one, Ipswich have quality and they’re very technical.

“We know how to play our game and we just need to be on our best on the day.”

A ticket on the coach will cost £28 and £20 for concessions and will leave from the Kassam Stadium at 9:45am.

He added: “The more fans we can get over there, the better.

“We really value their support and we hear them when we’re playing on the pitch.

“They make a big difference so it’s brilliant the club is putting on that coach.”
