An inmate who threw poo and urine at a prison guard will learn his fate next week.
Godwin Dayoni, 21, of Ilford, appeared before Oxford Crown Court on Friday (March 24) via video link from HMP Wandsworth and pleaded guilty to a single count of administering a noxious substance with intent.
He flung a concoction of faeces and urine, mixed in a washing up bowl, at an officer at HMP Bullingdon, near Bicester, on July 21, 2021 – a form of assault known colloquially as ‘potting’.
Recorder John Bate-Williams said he would not have time to deal with sentencing on Friday morning and adjourned the case to Thursday, March 30.
