MARY HALSALL, 41, of Glen Street, Colne, Lancs, admitted failing to stop after being involved in an accident on the A34 near Oxford on October 21 last year. She also pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis at Abingdon police station. She received a 28 month driving ban and a community order with an alcohol rehabilitation requirement and up to 15 probation sessions. She must pay a £114 victim surcharge.

ASHLEY COOK, 43, of The Camellias, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Nissan Kubistar on Leigh Grove, Banbury, last December. Cook was fined £550, banned from the roads for 17 months and ordered to pay £305 in costs and surcharge.

ASHRAF KHAN, 25, of Mallard Drive, Didcot, was found guilty in his absence to driving a Ford Focus in Wytham, near Oxford, while over the limit for cannabis last February. He also admitted failing to surrender to bail. He was fined £650, disqualified from driving for 16 months and ordered to pay £365 in costs and surcharge.

PHILLIP MAFFIA, 60, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to making a threatening phone call last June and assaulting a female police officer later that month. He received seven days’ imprisonment and was ordered to pay £50 in compensation to the recipient of the threatening phone call.

ADAM MULLER, 31, of Calais Dene, Bampton, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by beating. He received a community order with up to 20 rehabilitation activity requirement days and must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW CHALMERS, 37, of Couldrey Close, Abingdon, admitted breaching a restraining order by going to a woman’s home address in Abingdon and contacted her between December 2 last year and January 15. He was fined £120.

ROBIN GILL, 52, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted racially aggravated harassment and assaulting a woman on the Thames path near Donnington Bridge. He was fined £460 and received a community order with requirements to wear an alcohol abstinence tag for 120 days and complete up to 40 sessions with the probation service. The magistrates ordered he pay £180 in costs and surcharge.

LUKE HOLDEN, 32, of Fane Drive, Berinsfield, admitted assaulting a woman in a property in Wantage by beating her. A community order requires him to complete 100 hours in unpaid work, up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days and the building better relationships programme. He must pay £295 in costs and surcharge.

RACHEL MCLEARIE, 23, of Westbrook Green, Blewbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Corsa in Broadway last August while over the drug-drive limit for benzoylecgonine. She was fined £120, banned from driving for 18 months. The bench ordered she pay £85 in costs and a £48 victim surcharge.

NEIL MCCANN, 52, of Morrell Crescent, Littlemore, admitted assaulting a man by beating and failing to surrender to the court. He received two months’ imprisonment suspended for a year and must pay £100 in compensation.

NATASHA PAVLOU, 43, of Beech Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Passat on West Way, Botley, in December while over the drink drive limit. Tests showed she had 78mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath; the legal limit is 35. She was fined £230, banned from driving for 20 months and must pay £85 in costs and a £92 victim surcharge.
