After years of planning, building and happy buyers, a popular retirement home - which used to be the site of Bicester College - is complete and filled with residents.
Construction on Park Gardens apartments in Bath Road, Banbury, began in 2016 after the site’s occupier, Bicester College, decided to move its centre to Broughton Road in 2013.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the development was attended by local councillors, students and representatives from Banbury and Bicester College and members of the Bromford team.

In 2019 the first residents began moving into the development, and in 2021 even more retirees had found their way to Park Gardens and the development won a WhatHouse? Award for best retirement development.
Catherine Jarrett, director of sales and marketing at Bromford, said: “We are incredibly proud of everything we have achieved with Park Gardens.
“It is an excellent retirement development that offers the exact mix of independence and comfort that our buyers were looking for.”
