A primary school will be forced to shut to pupils tomorrow due to 'insufficient heating'.

Hardwick Primary School in Ferriston, Banbury will be closed tomorrow (December 14) after issues with its heating system.

The closure comes after The Cooper School in Bicester was forced to send pupils home today (December 13) following its boiler breaking.

The county is currently in the grip of a cold snap which has seen sub-zero temperatures and snow fall in recent days.

Sharing details of the closure on the Oxfordshire County Council website, a spokesperson for the school said it hopes the site will be reopened on Thursday (December 15) following repair works.
