AARON Williams-Bushell’s last minute winner secured Oxford City a 2-1 win at Cheshunt.

Mo Camara twice went close for the hosts in the first half, before the Hoops thought they had taken the lead when home goalkeeper Adam Desbois spilt a Josh Parker header, but the officials deemed that it didn’t cross the line.

City did edge in front just before half-time when Tom Harrison rose highest to nod his first goal for the club, from Zac McEachran’s cross.

Cheshunt equalised in the 63rd minute when captain Reece Beckles-Richards drove forward and hit a low drive past Ben Dudzinski.

However, the Hoops won it at the death when Williams-Bushell accelerated into the box and smashed an effort into the net.

The win sees City go four matches unbeaten in Vanarama National League South, and sit outside the play-off places on goal difference.
