RICKY ANDERSON, 37, of Rotherfield Road, Cholsey, was found guilty of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour towards a man in Oxford on October 25 last year. The court record noted that he had used a pole as a weapon to threaten his victim ‘over a sustained period’. He was sentenced to six weeks’ imprisonment suspended for half a year. He must pay £300 in prosecution costs and a £128 victim surcharge.

SEAN MACGREGOR, 46, of Sandhill, Shrivenham, pleaded guilty to using disorderly behaviour in Shrivenham on March 16. He was ordered to pay £100 in compensation and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

BEN GASGOYNE, 46, of Blacklands Road, Benson, admitted failing to supply a blood sample at Abingdon police station, having been arrested on suspicion of a road traffic offence. He was banned from driving for 17 months, fined £160 and ordered to pay £149 in costs and surcharge.

RAJEEV SAUDAMANI, 43, of Brampton Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to drink driving and jumping a red light in Burchester Avenue in September. After he was stopped, tests showed he had 45mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was fined £253, banned from driving for a year and must pay £186 in costs and surcharge.

RYAN MILNE, 45, of Kirriemuir, Angus, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Volvo V50 on the M40 near Wendlebury, in March. Tests showed he had 44mcgs in 100ml of breath. He was fined £300, banned from driving for a year and must pay £134 in costs and surcharge.

JAKE SPEKE, 22, of Rymers Lane, Oxford, admitted assaulting two police officers in Banbury. He was ordered to pay £200 in compensation and was given a community order with an alcohol treatment requirement.

JOSEPH OXTOBY, 28, of Tiverton Avenue, Northampton, pleaded guilty to drink driving a VW Urban on the B4100 Baynards Green in April. He was found to have 131mlg of alcohol in 100ml of urine, where the legal limit is 107mlg. He was fined £230, banned from driving for a year and must pay £177 in costs and surcharge.

ANDREW ADAMS, 34, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to possession of a kitchen knife and class C drug Pregabalin. Both were found with him in Abingdon police station in July. He was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half. As part of that sentence, he must complete a mental health treatment requirement and a drug rehabilitation programme. He was ordered to pay £100 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. He was, separately, ordered to pay almost £370 in compensation for stealing perfume and hair straighteners from John Lewis.

PETRA PUSKAS, 25, of Granville Street, Birmingham, was found guilty in his absence of driving a BMW on the M40 without insurance. The magistrates imposed a £660 fine, seven penalty points and £151 in costs and surcharge.

ASHLEY HAPGOOD, 35, of Blackthorn Road, Didcot, pleaded guilty to beating a man in Greenwood Way in March. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £84 in costs and surcharge. A hammer was forfeit and destroyed.
