A classical soprano with two number one albums in the charts is bringing her self-produced Christmas concert to the county.

Nadia Eide, from London, a contestant on the Voice UK 2021, is bring her Christmas concert A Christmas Symphony to venues around Oxfordshire.

The classical singer will tour St. Andrew’s Church in Oxford, The Beacon in Wantage, Dorchester Abbey and St. Mary’s Church in Witney.

Ms Eide is also supporting the work of the National Trust Woodland Appeal by planting one tree per ticket sold for her concerts.

She said: “I am touring my self-produced Christmas concerts A Christmas Symphony – a spectacular Christmas concert show featuring well-loved Christmas songs for the whole family.

“Special guests will feature the wonderful talents of the children’s choirs and soloists from Stagecoaches in Abingdon, Didcot, Botley, Headington, Woodstock, Summertown and Witney.

“I am not only a chart-topping classical soprano with two number one albums in the charts, but am also a proud ambassador for the Earth Trust in Oxfordshire championing their work to enhance, educate and inspire people to address climate, biodiversity and sustainability.”  

Ms Eide shot to fame when she appeared on ITV as the only classical singer on The Voice UK 2021.

Her four and a half octave range blew the coaches away securing her spot as a finalist of team Will.i.am.
