When the Deanfield Homes development was launched, planning commenced on a new village shop which promised to deliver essential services to the community, including universal access to mail and parcels, but also access to benefits, bill payments and banking services.

Ian Lewis, commercial director of Deanfield Homes, said: “We are delighted to have been able to provide a village shop to the community of Marsh Gibbon.

“To be able to deliver a vital local service that will benefit all reflects an ongoing commitment to make a positive contribution to the areas in which we build.

“The new village shop will make life much easier for local people.

“We are extremely proud to be leaving a lasting legacy in Marsh Gibbon.”

The Marsh Gibbon Village Shop is open Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 6pm and Sunday, 7am to 12pm.

Deanfield Homes builds homes in rural village locations across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.

Its current developments include Deanfields, Deanfield Park and Deanfield Green.
