IGLI ALLA, 24, of Bushy Close, Oxford, admitted driving a Mercedes on Thames Street while over the drug driving limit for cocaine and benzoylecgonine. The magistrates imposed a £120 fine, 12 month driving disqualification and ordered £119 in costs and surcharge.

SONNY MANNION, 32, of Apple Tree Close, Oxford, was found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour and racially aggravated threatening behaviour. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation and, as part of a community order, banned from going to Blackbird Leys Library for six months. He was given a four month curfew and must complete a 12 month mental health treatment requirement.

DAVID HAYES, 53, of Divinity Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to going to a property in East Avenue in spite of a closure order. He was fined £100 and must pay a £40 victim surcharge.

JOHN PHELAN, 30, of Oliver Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to causing two people alarm or distress by his threatening or disorderly behaviour. He also admitted failing to answer court bail. He was ordered to pay £75 in compensation and must complete alcohol rehabilitation and mental health treatment programmes. The bench ordered he pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

KEVIN COLLINS, 39, of Garth Road, Didcot, admitted harassing a woman by making ‘numerous unwanted calls’ in January and February and by sending another a threatening text message. He was given a community order with a requirement to complete the building better relationships programme with the probation service. A restraining order prevents him from contacting the victim of the harassment until September 2024.

STEVEN GORDON, 44, of Marlborough Road, Oxford, was convicted of racially aggravated threatening behaviour towards a police officer in Abingdon. He was ordered to pay £50 in compensation to the constable, abstain from alcohol for 30 days and do up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days with probation.

ROSS MILLAR, 36, of Coulings Close, East Hendred, admitted assaulting a woman in Didcot. He was fined £323 and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

STEPHEN LAWRENCE, 47, of Oxford Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Honda Jazz in Ambassador Avenue, Oxford. Tests showed he had 61mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was fined £300, banned from driving for 17 months and must pay £205 in costs and surcharge.

JAMIE BYLES, 36, of Willow Walk, Wantage, pleaded guilty to breaching a non-molestation order by sending abusive messages and also to sending a threatening WhatsApp message. He was given a community order with 80 hours of unpaid work and the building better relationships programme. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

DARNELL DRAKES-DANDO, 19, of Fair Isle Way, Reading, admitted racially-aggravated threatening behaviour in Oxford on September 2 and possession of a lock knife at Abingdon police station on the same date. He received six months’ detention suspended for a year and a half, with 250 hours of unpaid work and up to 40 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He must pay £241 in costs and surcharge.

ANDREW SILVER, 40, of Queens Road, Carterton, pleaded guilty to stealing razors from the Co-op in Witney. He received a 12 week jail sentence suspended for a year and was given a 12 week curfew. He must pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

HARRY SULLEY, 20, of Havenwood Rise, Nottingham, admitted assaulting a female police constable in Abingdon on December 23 last year. The magistrates ordered Sulley pay £50 compensation, noting it was an ‘unprovoked attack’.

CLAUDIO CHECCHIA, 28, of Fettiplace Close, Appleton, admitted driving a VW Scirocco on Station Road, Grove, while over the limit for benzoylecgonine. The magistrates imposed a £120 fine, three year driving ban and £119 in costs and surcharge.
