An amateur photographer from Oxfordshire has snapped a series of spooky wildlife shots.

The pictures were taken by Simon Booker, a photographer from South Stoke, who captures wildlife and nature images around the county.

Ahead of Halloween on Monday, Mr Booker's spooky snaps include a series of predatory birds, creepy spiders and a snake slithering through a waterway.

Mr Booker began posting nature photographs on local Facebook community groups from his IPhone five years ago.

The images were a hit with locals and he decided to invest in a professional camera, taking his hobby to the next level.

You can find and purchase photographs taken by Mr Booker on his website stokerpix.com/
