OXFORD United conceded two quickfire goals late on as they suffered a defeat to Chelsea Under-21s in the Papa John’s Trophy.
The Blues hit the post through Ben Elliott, before Matty Taylor opened the scoring for the U’s.
Simon Eastwood brilliantly saved an Omari Hutchison free-kick and the two went head-to-head again in the second half.
Hutchinson won a penalty after being fouled by Djavan Anderson, but Eastwood saved the Chelsea man’s penalty and rebound.
The visitors did however equalise through Mason Burstow’s sensational lob.
Neat footwork and a tidy finish inside the box from Lewis Hall saw Chelsea win the tie.
