NORTH Leigh were beaten on the road as they remain in the bottom four in Southern League Premier South.
The West Oxfordshire side lost 2-0 at Gosport Borough, to remain 19th in the table.
After the defeat, manager Eddie Odhiambo told the club website: “In the first half, we were good, it was a good game of football.
“We stuck to our game plan really well and what we’ve struggled with so far this season is a performance for the whole match.
“We have inconsistencies within a game and that’s the frustrating part.
“Their players made better decisions than we did, and fewer mistakes, and ultimately that leads us to losing the game.”
Kidlington beat Thame United 1-0 in the all-Oxfordshire clash in Southern League Central Division.
Didcot Town were beaten 3-0 at home to league leaders Ware.
