OXFORD United Women have made two signings ahead of their return to league action.
The U’s have snapped up Romanian international Oana Negrea from Fulham, while Lacy-Jai Liggett joins from Cheltenham Town.
Negrea, a 22-year-old forward, told the club website: “I’m very happy, it’s a great opportunity for me and a new challenge.
“The team has done really well in the league and the aim is to finish as high as possible, my aim is to help achieve that.”
Opportunities to reference Nicolas Anelka will be few and far between so took full advantage while I could. Big weekend in the FA Cup for @OxCityFC and @BanburyUnitedFC with the first round proper on the horizonhttps://t.co/xleP8FfILG

Liggett , who has already played against United this season, added: “I’m buzzing, when I played Oxford it was a really good challenge.
“The girls and the way they bond together is amazing, there’s such a strong group out there.”
Both will hope to be part of the U’s team to face Watford in the Southern Premier Division, which Liam Gilbert’s side currently top.
United’s manager said: “Watford have always been a very good team. They were promoted two seasons ago so we’ve played them quite a few times and know what they’re about.
“They’ve retained a lot of players from last year and signed good players as well.
“They’ll still be growing as a group the same way that we are.”
