KEVIN WALLS, 42, of Pound Way, Oxford, admitted assaulting a woman by beating on June 1. He was ordered to pay £50 in compensation, jailed for 18 weeks and must abide by a two year restraining order banning him from contacting his victim.

MARK AMOS, 53, of Vineyard, Abingdon, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman in Coopers Lane in the town. He received 22 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for 18 months with 35 rehabilitation activity requirement days, an alcohol treatment requirement and a requirement to pay his victim £50 in compensation. A restraining order bans him from contacting the woman for two years.

BENJAMIN JARVIS-FOSTER, 32, of Ardley Road, Fewcott, received a community order with up to 10 rehabilitation activity requirement days and was banned for 34 months after he was convicted of drug driving a Ford Mondeo in Sandown Road, Bicester, failing to stop for a constable and wilfully obstructing a constable in the course of his duty. He must pay £395 in costs and surcharge.

DAVID SCOTT, 39, of Canning Crescent, Oxford, pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £200 and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

STEVEN BUTLER, 34, of Park Close, Banbury, admitted assaulting a man by beating him in January. The magistrates imposed a community order with £100 in compensation, a six week curfew and up to 32 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

JOE CHESNEY, 33, of Woodpiece Road, Upper Arncott, admitted drink driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta on the B4030 Bicester Road, Middleton Stoney, in April. He had 43mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was fined £230, banned from driving for a year and must pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

AIDEN WOOD, 30, of Normandy Crescent, Oxford, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle, a Seat Leon, at the Peartree services near Oxford in March when he was over the drug-drive limit for cannabis. He was fined £160, banned from driving for six months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

TREVOR FROST, 63, of Sunny Rise, Horspath, admitted drink driving a Citroen on Hollybush, Oxford, in June. He had 56mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £385, banned from driving for 15 months and must pay £124 in costs and surcharge.

MATTHEW MOULTON, 24, of Jole Close, Swindon, admitted drink driving a Mercedes C Class on the A420 near Faringdon on June 11. Breath tests showed he had 80mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35. He was fined £380, banned from driving for 20 months and must pay £123 in costs and surcharge.

MARTYN DAVIES, 60, of Willoughby Road, Banbury, pleaded guilty to being drunk in charge of a Mercedes in Banbury on June 10. Tests showed he was almost three times the drink drive limit, blowing 101mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £200, banned from the roads for six months and ordered to pay £119 in costs and surcharge.

IOSIF LADAN, 47, of Colwell Drive, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Divinity Road. Tests showed he was almost four times the drink-drive limit, blowing 132mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The district judge imposed a 12 month community order with a 90 day alcohol abstinence tag and up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions. He was banned from the roads for 30 months and ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge.
