County Durham is preparing to welcome thousands of fans as Hardwick Festival returns to Harwick Hall.

With the festival just around the corner, ticket holders should be made aware of what they can't bring to the site across the weekend.

Hardwick Bag Policy: 

The festival website does not specify any information on bag requirements, however, most festivals claim that bags should be no bigger than an A4 size sheet of paper. 

With many events also stating that bags and suitcases that are too big will be refused entry.

What can I bring to Hardwick Festival? 

Event organisers state that there are a number of things that are prohibited items that can not be brought into the venue for health and safety.

If you do have a prohibited item it could be confiscated or you could potentially be refused entry.

The items you can not bring to Hardwick Festival are:

  • You can not bring your own food and drinks. 
  • Cooler Boxes/ picnic baskets, bags of food and drink will be confiscated
  • You can not bring alcohol to the festival. 
  • Chairs are not prohibited. 
  • Windbreaks/ sun tents are prohibited. 
  • No professional cameras or video recorders
  • Fireworks, smoke canisters, flags, poles, umbrellas or any items that can be classified as a ‘weapon’ are not allowed
  • Dogs are not allowed (Guide Dogs are allowed)

The items you can bring to Hardwick Festival are:

  • Sealed 500ml plastic bottles containing water. 
  • You can bring in an empty plastic water container to refill free on site.
  • Rugs/ picnic blankets/ shooting-sticks are allowed
