A WOMAN from Oxfordshire has been fined for stealing a hot tub from Tesco.

Glenda Daniels, 50, of Ulfgar Road in Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing a Lazy-Z-Spa costing £365 from Tesco in Bicester on February 3 this year.

She allegedly carried out the theft with Simon Valters, of Couldrey Close in Abingdon. However, Valters is not due in court until October 14 this year.

Daniels, who was sentenced at Oxfordshire Magistrates Court last month, was fined £80 for the theft.

She was also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge as well as £38 in court costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Daniels must pay £30 a month starting on October 26.
