Joe Wicks has raised thousands for charity with a tour of the UK which included a workout with families at Waddesdon Manor.

The seven-stop PE With Joe road trip, which he completed in a Mini Countryman, took Joe from Somerset to Perth in Scotland.

More than 5,500 people took part in group workouts, raising £35,760 for Children in Need.

Participants completed 101,916 burpees, 249,128 star jumps, 192,508 Spider-Man lunges and 124,564 squats.

Joe, 36, also known as The Body Coach, started PE With Joe during lockdown, in which he would livestream workout videos to his YouTube channel to encourage young people and their families to keep fit and improve mental wellbeing.

Joe said: “It’s been incredible to meet so many people and hear their stories about how P.E. With Joe transformed their lives in lockdown and beyond.

"Meeting everyone that came along and hearing their inspiring stories meant so much to me. It really emphasised the importance of moving your body, not just for keeping fit, but for the truly positive impact it can have on your mental health.”

Last year Joe went on a road trip to six locations in six days, working out with over 5,500 participants and raising money for Children in Need.

Joe was appointed to the role of School Ambassador for Children in Need in 2019.
