A new record has been set for a breakfast-eating challenge just one week after the previous record took place.

Bicester Bean and Coffee’s breakfast challenge – which includes 5 of each breakfast item; sausages, bacon rashers, black puddings, fried eggs, hash browns, pieces of toast, a bowl of beans and lots of tomatoes and mushrooms – has a new record holder.

At around 2pm on Monday June 20, YouTube star and Europe’s number one female competitive eater, Leah Shutkever, finished the breakfast challenge in 8 minutes and 2 seconds.

The eating star – who also appeared on ITV’s Apocalypse WOW at 10pm on Friday, June 24 – holds 27 Guinness World Records.

Including ‘most chicken nuggets eaten in one minute’, where she managed to eat 19 nuggets in 60 seconds.

Cafe Owner Aly Clifton said: “She was a lovely girl. I was totally gobsmacked with how she managed to eat the whole breakfast so gracefully.”

The previous record at the cafe was set just a week before this one, by YouTuber and fitness instructor Jack Squires, who finished the feast in twelve minutes and fifty seconds.

The meal costs £25, of which £5 is donated to Bicester’s cancer care charity, The Hummingbird Centre.

If a challenger can finish the meal in under 45 minutes, they eat for free.
