A WOMAN has said she is 'really impressed' with a group of boys who found a bag in a park and then spent the afternoon desperately trying to return it to the owner.

Last night, Monday June 27, at around 830pm, three teenage boys knocked on the door of Lauren Chesterman's house saying they had found the beige bag - thought to orignally been from Primark - in the park on Cattrick Road in Kingsmere, Bicester.

Miss Chesterman, 28, who is the owner of the house said: “The boys asked if my kids had left a bag in the park. They said they looked inside the bag, but only to see if they could find a name or an address so they could return it to the owner.

“They told me there was money in there and stressed that they had not touched it, they just wanted to return it to its rightful owner.

“Then they asked, because I was the nearest house, if I would be happy to share it on Facebook so the owner could come forward and find it.

“I was so impressed by these boys; they were so honest.”

After sharing on Facebook that a bag had been found in the park, Miss Chesterman said that it had not yet been claimed by anybody.

The bag is beige in colour, with a silver chain attached and a circular pocket built into its side.
