A woman from Bicester has been ordered to pay a fine of £574 after speeding on a dual carriageway.

Twenty-six-year-old Bethaney Hunt was picked up by speed cameras last October whilst driving a Nissan on the A43 between Brackley and Silverstone.

The driver was recorded speeding at 92 miles per hour (mph), where the legal limit was 70mph.

She has been fined £440 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £44 to fund victim services.

In addition, Bethaney must pay £90 in court costs and her driving license has been endorsed with 4 points.

All penalties must be paid by July 5, 2022.

Bethaney’s speeding offence came two weeks after eleven drivers were stopped by police for speeding in Bicester in one morning.
