An Oxfordshire hotel has released a statement after a woman was found dead on the premises.
The woman, 40s, was discovered at Cromwell Lodge Hotel on North Bar Street in Banbury on Saturday (May 7).
Officers were called to the Greene King accommodation at around 12.25pm and police are treating the death as unexplained.

A spokesperson for Cromwell Lodge said: “We are extremely sad to confirm that one of our hotel guests passed away over the weekend.
“We are fully supporting the police’s investigation into this matter as well as offering every support to our hotel team.
“All our thoughts and condolences are with the friends and family of our guest.”
The woman’s next of kin have been informed.
