A woman from Bicester will be appearing in court tomorrow on charges of theft that took place two years ago.
29-year-old Barbara Bridget Doran is due to stand trial tomorrow after stealing cosmetic items and mattress toppers from House of Fraser and Dreams PLC, respectively.
Both thefts occurred in Guildford, in the County of Surrey.
The total value of stolen items came to £512.
Barbara appeared in court in November 2021 for the theft. However, court was adjourned until May 10 because the defendant lives in Bicester, and there were difficulties in assuring her attendance.
Guildford is no stranger to shoplifters, having been the home of prolific shoplifter Christina Middlemass, who was sentenced to one year and 11 months’ imprisonment after pleasing guilty to 31 offences.
