Car enthusiasts came out in force for Bicester Heritage’s popular scramble event at the weekend.

The heritage site threw open its doors on Saturday and Sunday (April 23 and 24) to motor lovers for the April 2022 Scramble.

A family and dog friendly event, the scramble gave guests a chance to take glimpse behind the doors of Bicester Heritage’s 45 industry-leading specialists for extended hours between 9am and 4pm.

People were allowed behind the scenes access to the specialists showrooms and workshops.

A huge range of vintage and classic cars were also on display for petrol heads to get a close up look at.

People who visited the event were full of praise for the organisers and the cars on show.

On Sunday, Gary Jones said: “Had a great day at the Scramble yesterday! Hope today is even better for everyone going.”

Jonathan Buckley said: “Very well orchestrated event! Safe, fun and a wonderfully organised and professional set-up! Some absolute gems on show!

“It was my first time there, but certainly won't be my last. Excellent!”

A spokesperson for Bicester Heritage described the first day of the scramble as “spectacular” and thanked those who attended the event.

Founded in 2013, Bicester Heritage is the UK’s only hub for historic motoring excellence and is the national centre for a £8.8bn per annum industry that employs over 34,000 skilled people.
