The UK’s first 100mph battery-diesel hybrid train could start serving Oxford next month.

The two-carriage train, named HybridFLEX, was introduced by Chiltern Railways.

It was first used on February 10 on a 40-mile route between London Marylebone and Aylesbury.

It is anticipated to start running in Oxford on the week beginning March 7, but this is subject to change.

Here's everything we know about the train

The train would cover the 3.05pm London Marylebone – Oxford service and the 4.38pm Oxford – London Marylebone service.

What stations will it call at?
