Thames Valley Police received hundreds of more calls on Friday due to Storm Eunice.
The storm saw trains cancelled, accidents on the roads, damage to property and people injured.
Parts of Oxfordshire were issued with a red weather warning on the day which meant there was a ‘danger to life’, while the rest of the county was given an amber warning.

At the time the emergency services urged people to only ring 999 if they really had to.
Information provided to the Oxford Mail by Thames Valley Police reveals that there was an increase of 130 per cent in 99 calls and an increase of 28 per cent in 101 calls, up to 3pm on Friday, compared to a normal weekday.
These increases are equal to 520 more 999 calls and 183 101 calls than the police would normally receive.
